The Belle River Canadiens take SCHMALZ CUP SEMI-FINAL
The Belle River Canadiens won the Schmalz Cup semi-final series in Grimsby Saturday evening with a 4-0 shut out of the Peach Kings in Game 5 of the Ontario Junior C series.

The Alliston Hornets won a six-game series against the Napanee Raiders and now advance to  Jr. ‘C’  hockey’s provincial championship series which should get underway this week end.
